"Children learn what they live," reads the poem by Dorothy Law Nolte, and it is with that in mind that World Education Connection works to celebrate the unique gifts of all children. By valuing their own qualities, children learn to value those unique qualities of global teammates.

"If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient...If a child lives with acceptance, he learns to love."

World Education Connection aims to deliver to students in classrooms around the globe a program that teaches them the true power of connection, with empathy as the bridge that connects them to their global teammate.

We do this by creating global teams who will connect, collaborate, and celebrate together, building cultural awareness, cultural sensitivity, and strong global connections. We operate on the principles that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. By creating these global teams, and exposing students to different cultures, we will deepen their awareness and acceptance of self, and of those that may seem culturally different, but be able to connect with them at a common point.

We connect your classroom with another classroom in another part of the world. This becomes your global teammate for the entire school year of September – May of the following year. Teaching the skills of what is needed in today’s interconnected world.

As a global team,  you will get to know each other and learn about each other’s culture. Global teammates will collaborate on a name and logo and support each other throughout the year.

On May 9th, 2018, we will host the second annual World Education Day Of Connection. This day will bring together all the global teams in celebration of the connections made, share the collaborations on projects that contributed to the greater understanding of all, and hear from exciting guest speakers.
